Therapeutic Role Playing Groups for Kids and Teens

Roll for Progress Therapeutic Gaming Groups utilize a combination of modified role playing games based off of Dungeons & Dragons along with creative and expressive activities in order to help kids and teens develop or enhance the skills necessary for success in school and in their personal lives.

Therapeutic Gaming Groups help children who struggle with a variety of issues from:  Issues related to ADHD, Social Anxiety Disorders, Anger Management, and Social Skills Deficits.  Roll for Progress Gaming Groups provide children the opportunity to learn how to have fun and build meaningful connections with their peers away from the computer/tv/cell phone screens in an environment that is both fun and educational.

Groups are facilitated by Licensed Therapists with experience working with kids in the traditional therapy setting and running various types of table top games who serve as the "Game Master".

Utilizing knowledge of evidenced-based practices in traditional therapy, games and activities are tailored to enhance the inherent benefits of role playing games such as:  confidence building, creative problem solving, empathy/perspective taking, frustration tolerance, and basic social skills.
